Affer wanting this photo for over a year, I finaly asked the Freemans for a copy and here it is...

I've started a GROUP just for us!   You should have received a private invitation from my RENSPACE, but I wanted you all to know about the GROUP.  This is a semi-private site for just cast/staff. so we call talk freely about faire without giving away tricks of the trade to friends of faire or any potiental patrons!

I'm not much of a website designer so anyone willing to share some knowledge with me...I have a nice shot of the castle that I would love to use at the Group's background...any ideas?

Let's see, what am I doing here?  I really don't know as I have a LJ and a MySpace that I use little if any!  But rf-photog invited me and who can say no to him!

Tennessee is my home faire. 

I began by selling Tickets there for Ticketmaster....Then I ran the Box Office and even dressed up.

my third year I asked the Local Cast director Carol Black if I could do an opening gate thing, that I would dress up and be the tax collector and direct the village visitors to que up and pay the tax or present their receipt or ticket to prove they had already paid their taxes and that if they had not, they could pay with the ticket mistress or Ticket Masters......

She laughed her head off...and that was the beginning.......I helped her that year assisting the direction of "the play with in the play" from Mid Summer Night's Dream....Ripper is the only one still around from back then....He jousts with the Free Lancers.

The next year was the 1st year of the sword fighting troupe Stormy Knights of which I was a memeber.

When we came across the street (god I was glad to leave Cardiac Hill behind but hated the reasons we were moving and what it was doing to the Freeman's the owners),  Mark Sullivan gave me my first lessons in IMPROVE!  and the Heavens opened, the Sun shown and the angels sang....I still am not the best at IMPROVE but it sure is a huge improvement on what we were doing before then.

After that I joined local cast and then became Assistant Entertainment Director to Brook Hall.  Spent a year being sick and another year back in cast. Then John Davis asked me to Assist him and I did for two years and Assisted Ryan Gigliotti ever since John left.

And hear we are....Auditions are over, actors are cast, theme is set (not yet solid but set), Fighters have started training,  Fairies are in their 4 week of training, and everyone is working on costume designs or upgrading existing costumes....

Life at TN REN is good!
